The Inaugural Alexander Jansons Foundation Clay Pigeon shoot took place on an extremely hot Friday 18th July 2014.
A team of ‘Hot Shot Lloyds Brokers’ squared up against a team of ‘High Profile Property People’.
In the Brokers corner we had:
- Robert Dean
- Marc Robinson
- Giles Taylor
- Paul Hyde
- Richard Kinsey
- Tim Bartleet
In the Property corner – The Roberts Newby trio consisting of:
- Simon Roberts
- David Greathead
- Nathan Mincham
And finally the last three from Jansons:
- Andy Jansons
- Lucy Lucas
- Patricia Dean
The ability between the two groups was mixed with some having never shot before to those who view Clay Pigeon Shooting as their main sport since childhood and everyone else falling in between the two.
The two teams were surprisingly well matched and with only a few points in the difference it was all down to the flurry at the end.
For those in the property fraternity you will be pleased to hear that they did win on the day but important to note by only 3 points.
The best score of the day went to Nathan Mincham from the Property Team but only after a shoot off against Richard Kinsey from the Lloyds Brokers Team so tensions were running high until the last.
Our equivalent of the wooden spoon a wooden shot gun was awarded to Richard Kinsey although he was the best shot in his team they voted him to be the most worthy of this accolade.
