Friday 17th October 12 people parted with hard earned cash to support Alexander Jansons Foundation for a Clay Pigeon Shoot at West London Shooting School
We were put into groups of 3 and all the ladies decided to say together safety in numbers. This definitely proved to be a winning formula as we were all able to offer encouragement and support to our fellow team members.
All the mens teams had great scores even though 80% had never shot before but with the expert help of the instructors everyone managed to hit a considerable amount of clays.
The mornings shoot finished with a Flush and once again its important to make reference that the ladies team scored very high in this event – beating not one but two of the mens teams.
Finally it was back to the house for lunch and prize giving.
The High Gun was Robert Dean
The best team score was Team 1: Giles / Martin / Gary
Finally the Low score prize of a wooden gun (as apposed to a wooden spoon) went to Mike Lianas.
Our day was summed up by a number of people asking if this would become an annual event which was very encouraging.. But the best part of the day was that with everyones support Alexander Jansons Fundation raised £2355.
