A Hakka of an night

On 26th November we invited Zinzan Brooke to join us for a fundraising event with a difference… We managed to squeeze 80 people into the aptly named “Eating Room” at Home House London. After dinner a quick fired question round where everyone politely raised their hands to ask questions was quickly followed by Zinzan agreeing to perform the hakka – but at a cost ! We were so over subscribed for

Progressive What…

One of our most imaginative fundraising events to date was a Progressive Supper held on 6th September 2014 and organised by Julie Bailey and Helen Cole. 100 people met at Radnage Village Hall, for pre-dinner drinks and whilst there, each couple was given an envelope revealing where they would dine. (You don’t know who you will be cooking for or where you will be dining until you open your envelope). Everyone then set

It’s Raining Men

Bank Holiday Monday saw rain like we have never experienced, but Alexander Jansons Foundation Team entry in the  Beaconsfield Stretcher Race did not allow rain to dampen their spirits. The winners on the day were a fully kitted out, fully trained team, aptly named Wild Training Trainers who were actually a group of personal trainers – my case rests.  Our team on the other hand had clearly not been training the night

Up, Up and Away!

John Hampden Fundraising Day Great coverage of our John Hampden fundraising day was seen in the Buckinghamshire Advertiser this week. Over £100 was raised on the balloon race alone where one balloon travelled an incredible 61 miles and was found on the A10 in Braughing Hertfordshire.  The balloon was purchased by a student at John Hampden School which makes him a fitting winner. Come Fly With Me Andy & Tomas Jans
