Events on the horizon for 2017

  • The Gauntlet Games 2017

    Date: Saturday 24 June 2017

    Venue: Trent Park, Cockfosters Road, London EN4 0PS

    Cost: AJF will organise all the administration costs, paperwork and set up your Justgiving page. We just ask that you raise a minimum of £300 for the Foundation.

    Details: The Gauntlet Games wants everyone to come outdoors and have fun with their friends, regardless of their fitness ability. Gauntlet Games are for everybody – not just marathon-runners. There is no time limit, and the many Gladiator Zones allow you to take a breather while you wait your turn. Held in London’s beautiful Trent Park just 5 minutes walk from the Piccadilly Line at Cockfosters, 2017 will see heaps of new and crazy obstacles – you’d be mad to miss out. Think of bouncing, sliding, crashing and splashing and you’re on the right lines.

    The finish line, with a grand Gauntlet of five seriously funny obstacles. Make sure you have a friend on hand to take pictures of you wiping out!

  • Hidden Figures

    Date: Thursday 29 June 2017 | Doors open 7.15 | Film starts at 8.00

    Details: Hidden Figures is the incredible true story of NASA determined to send an astronaut on a trip around the Earth before Russia beats them to it. As the space agency becomes increasingly more desperate, three big brains are drafted in to help. The problem? It’s 1962, they’re women and they’re black.

  • Prudential Ride London for Alexander Jansons Foundation

    Prudential Ride London

    Date: Sunday 30 July 2017.

    Venue: Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling comprises a spectacular 46 mile route on traffic-free roads, beginning at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with the last 17 miles through London to the finish in The Mall.

    Details: The route of the Prudential RideLondon – Surrey 46 offers a perfect, traffic-free ride for a range of cyclists. Everyone can enjoy a memorable day in the saddle as they pedal through London and Surrey. Why not take the challenge on behalf of Alexander Jansons Foundation. We have 9 places available and ask you to raise a minimum of £500 through sponsorship. We can set up your JustGiving page, organise all the administration and supply you with our AJF t-shirt. All you have to do is raise £500 and enjoy a day of cycling through traffic free London.

  • London to Windsor bike ride

    Prudential Ride London

    Date: Sunday 3 September 2017.

    Venue: Start at Richmond Green, off Kew Road, Richmond, Surrey TW9 1QF. Finish at Alexandra Gardens, Barry Avenue, Windsor SL4 5HZ.

    Details: Join us for the London to Windsor bike ride! There is a choice of 55 and 37 miles on road routes, or a shorter 29 miles which includes some towpaths. AJF will sort out all your administration costs and set up your Just Giving page. We just ask that you raise a minimum of £250 for the foundation.

  • Charity Skydive

    Go skydive

    Date: Saturday 30 September 2017 at 9am

    Venue: Salisbury Plain for the Skydive, and then back to Andy Jansons house in Penn Bucks for a BBQ and music.

    Cost: The charity will organise all the paperwork and cost of each individuals jump. We will set up your Just Giving page if you require it either as an individual or as a team page. We hope that each person will raise a minimum of £1000.
